Morning Broads (and lurking Brudes)! PTL: That interview was far too short, but what there was of it was perfection! I loved it. Yes, (to whoever asked several PP back -- sorry, I don't remember who) I tried to get my foot to my face. And, yes, I can do it. Why does that make me strangely happy? I was bothered that there was stuff in the various teasers that we didn't get in the interview, but . . . oh, well. He really was luminous, wasn't he? Just a few thoughts....The interview on PTL...why do I still see Tammy Faye's racoon eyes when I say that?? ANYWAY...I think there was something cut before the racist comment as the answer made no sense. I still go back to the water question...especially after seeing the photos of the younger Clay playing in the ocean. Sperm Doner sounds just like the type of man who would teach his young son to swim by throwing him off a dock into deep water...or something similar. I hope we never know.... Ah! THE Album! Clay sounds wonderful as always but I think when the reviews come out, we will hear that all the songs sound very much alike! I am surprised that there are no Ballads and no really recognizable Covers...were they too afraid of the Broadway label? And, Finally, as an older Broad and a lover of Lyrics, I found some of these songs...not all...to be shallow and immature in the phrasing and wording...others can sing insipid lyrics cause no one listens anyway...but NOT Clay! Compare this stuff to the classics of the past, written by Sedaka or Manilow...poetry put to music! Because he interprates the meaning so well, he needs better words to say! Oh!
